Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) Swings to Adjusted Earnings in Q2; Sales Increase

Shopify (NYSE:SHOP) reported Q2 adjusted diluted earnings  of $0.14 per share, compared with a loss of $0.03 a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.05 normalized. Revenue for the quarter that ended June 30 was $1.69 billion, up from $1.3 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.63 billion. The company said it expects Q3 revenue to grow at a low-20s percentage rate on a year-over-year basis, which translates into a year-over-year growth rate in the mid-20s when adjusting for the 300 basis points to 400 basis points headwind from the sale of Shopify’s logistics businesses.

Qorvo (NASDAQ:QRVO) Fiscal Q1 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Decline; Fiscal Q2 Outlook Issued

Qorvo (NASDAQ:QRVO) reported fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings  of $0.34 per diluted share, down from $2.25 a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.15. Revenue for the quarter ended July 1 was $651.2 million, down from $1.04 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $639.7 million. The company said it expects fiscal Q2 non-GAAP diluted EPS of $1.75. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for $1.62. Revenue for the fiscal quarter is projected to be $1 billion, plus or minus $15 million. the company said. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ are expecting $953.8 million.

DoorDash (NYSE:DASH) Q2 Loss Narrows as Revenue Advances

DoorDash (NYSE:DASH) reported a Q2 loss  of $0.44 per diluted share, narrower than the per-share loss of $0.72 a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $2.13 billion, up from $1.61 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.06 billion.
