For the full year 2022, the company’s net revenue was $43 billion, up 11% year-over-year; Earnings per share were $2.19, down 3% year-over-year. Airbnb, Inc. (NASDAQ:ABNB) Fiscal 2022 Revenue of $8.4 Billion Guidance for Q1 2023 beat analyst expectations

Airbnb, Inc. (NASDAQ:ABNB) released its fiscal year 2022 results: revenue of $8.4 billion, up 40% year-over-year, beating analysts’ expectations of $8.36 billion, and net profit of $1.893 billion, compared to a net loss of $352 million last year. For the first quarter of fiscal 2023, Airbnb gave guidance on revenue of $1.75 billion to $1.82 billion, beating analysts’ expectations of $1.69 billion. For the full fiscal year 2023, Airbnb expects the company to maintain the same strong adjusted EBITDA margin as it did in fiscal 2022, as incremental variable cost efficiencies and fixed-cost disciplines offset the negative impact of lower daily average home price figures.

Deutsche Bank: Raised CME Group Inc. (NASDAQ:CME) price target to $218 Maintain Buy rating

Deutsche Bank analyst Brian Bedell raised its price target on CME Group Inc. (NASDAQ:CME) to $218 from $200 and maintained a buy rating on the stock. The analyst told investors that the company’s fourth-quarter results were “fairly solid,” with modest growth in revenue and interest income and a sharper increase in adjusted expenses. However, CME Group is demonstrating pricing power by increasing futures/options RPCs this year, which is actually a 4%-5% revenue increase. Combined with organic growth plans and transaction volume growth at a low median rate, Deutsche Bank believes the company’s EPS growth rate this year will be closer to 10 percent, up from just 3 percent previously.

Barclays slashes ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (NYSE:ZIM) target price: container shipping industry serious ‘oversupply’

Barclays analyst Alexia Dogani said in a research report that the rating of ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (NYSE:ZIM) was downgraded from “flat with the broader market” to “underweight”, and the target price was lowered from $26.50 to $15, and global shipping is expected to have a downward cycle in 2023-24. The analyst said it believes the container shipping industry will enter a period of “severe oversupply” in 2023-24, with capacity capacity expected to grow at an annual rate of 10 per cent, while market demand will remain at -3 per cent compared to 2019.

Adjusted operating profit for the fourth quarter was 22% and adjusted free cash flow was $75.8 million. First-quarter revenue is expected to be $503-$507 million, compared with analysts’ expectations of $522.2 million.
